About MOUNTCALVARY

Mount Calvary
Church History

Mount Calvary Free Will Baptist Church was organized under the leadership of Elder S.C. Tillman on November 1, 1985, and Mother Dorothy Tillman suggested the name. The first service was held November 3, 1985 at Edith L. Starke Elementary School. Under his leadership, the ministry experienced exponential growth, new auxiliaries were formed, musical instruments were purchased, a radio ministry established and the present edifice was built.

Our

Vision

Our vision is to fully develop disciples for kingdom building and to finish what we started.

Spiritual
Community

Since 1985, we have striven to create a strong community-driven by the teachings of Jesus Christ, which are the guiding force in the lives of our growing congregation. Through our worship, activities, and community engagement, we give our members the chance to become fully immersed in the wisdom and teachings of the Lord.

This Is Our Mission

Our mission here at Mount Calvary is based upon our foundational 5 "E"s. Through these, we bring God closer to our hearts and closer to the hearts of those around us. As a fellowship of believers, we have the honor of proclaiming the glory of Christ to one another in a loving and caring setting.
